Artist's Statement

For me, painting is a form of meditation—a chance to disconnect from the chaos of the world and dive into a realm of color and shape. It is a space where my emotions and memories are transformed into vivid hues, which I then pour onto the canvas. My work is not just décor; it is a powerful means of connecting with the boundless universe. I primarily work with oil on canvas, enjoying the depth and richness the medium offers. I often use loose brushstrokes and like to create texture, sometimes experimenting with sgraffito to add an extra layer of complexity. My subjects are usually landscapes and monuments, reflecting my fascination with both the natural world and the human-made structures that endure over time. Inspired by the Impressionist movement, I strive to capture fleeting moments—like the play of light on a landscape or the silent majesty of a monument—by focusing on color and atmosphere rather than precise detail.
